I work with children, adolescents, and adults who experience mental health and interpersonal difficulties. My approach is longer-term and grounded in authenticity, curiosity, and connection. I prioritise working collaboratively with clients to develop a shared understanding of their personal history and who they are as fully-fledged human beings. This understanding allows me to support clients in moving toward what matters most to them, using an approach that fits best, and at a pace that feels right.
My primary orientation is psychoanalytic and I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist candidate with the Association for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy WA (APPWA). I am also undertaking a PhD in existential psychology, with a focus on purpose and motivation, and enjoy integrating what I’ve learnt from research into my clinical work.
I have had further training in Mentalization Based Therapy (MBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive behavioural Therapy (CBT).
I whole-heartedly welcome clients who are neurodivergent and of all genders and sexualities.
